How to ground and activate your base chakra!

Ever wondered why children have an innate knowledge to walk barefoot? They are in-tune with the rhythm of nature, 

If you think about it, it’s only the last few hundred years that shoes have become part of what we wear every day. And only in the last 50 years or so that plastic was invented.

This is important to know, because plastic soles stop the electromagnetic waves coming up from the earth and into our body through our feet. Before plastic shoes, there were leather soles that were able to let these waves through.

Ready for the scientific analogy?

Our bodies are made up of positive and negative electrons, they pair up and balance each other out.  When we come into contact with different energetic waves or toxins like Wi-Fi, radiation, preservatives, tobacco etc we get some electrons that detach from their groups and go off on their own - these are called free radicals.

You may have heard anti aging creams talk about these in their advertising. “The fight against free radicals” Free radicals have an electron imbalance that makes them electrically charged—in their quest to find a free electron and neutralize, they can attach to or steal an electron from a healthy cell, damaging it in the process.

This is how chronic inflammation (which causes chronic pain and promotes many health disorders) is set in motion. Inflammation is one of the biggest causes of disease.

So what has grounding or walking barefoot on the earth have to do with this?

The earth has an infinite supply of free electrons, so when a person is grounded, those electrons naturally flow between the earth and the body, reducing free radicals and eliminating any static electrical charge. The reason grounding is so powerful is it reduces and prevents inflammation from occurring in the body, which in turn prevents inflammation-related health disorders.
